What is a Segment?

As you have used the talent pool or hiring hub, you've probably found yourself using several filters to narrow down the results. You can now save these filter settings as a Segment, allowing you to quickly select it again in the future without having to go through each of the filters again.

Create a new Segment

Follow these easy steps to create a new Segment:

  1. Go to the Talent Pool or Hiring Hub

  2. Modify the filters and add any search keywords so that you get the results you are looking for

  3. Click the '+' Add new Segment

  4. Fill in the details for the Segment

    1. Name

    2. Description

    3. Choose whether to share it with your fellow team members

    4. Add or remove any filters

  5. Click Save Segment

Load an existing Segment

To load an existing segment:

  1. Go to the Talent Pool/Hiring Hub

  2. Click on Select Segment

  3. Select the Segment you wish to load from the slideout

Talent Pool Segments vs Hiring Hub Segments

The Talent Pool allows you to filter on the candidate's information, such as their source (ATS, imported, AI Assistant, etc...), Country, when they were created, any tags they may have or lists they may belong to, etc...

The Hiring Hub allows you to filter on the job's information, such as Department, Hiring Team, location, etc...

Because each page focuses on a different thing (candidates vs jobs), the segments are not shared between the two pages. Any Hiring Hub segments you create cannot be used on the Talent Pool page, and vice-versa.

That's it!
