Is the browser extension not opening when you click the 'g' on the side of your screen? You may be using another extension that interferes with it. See below for instructions on how to get around this!
If you are using a password-managing extension, such as 1Password or Password Keeper, that is most likely to be the extension that is blocking the Grayscale extension from opening. If that is the case, start with that extension when following the steps outlined below.
Google Chrome
Finding the extension causing the issue
Click the Extensions icon in the extensions tray to the right of the address bar (icon looks like a puzzle piece)
Click Manage extensions
On the Extensions page, find the extension you suspect to be the issue, and disable it by using the toggle switch.
Open your ATS in a new tab (or refresh the ATS webpage if you already had that tab open)
Click the Grayscale icon on the side of the page to see if Grayscale now opens (may require several clicks the first time)
If the Grayscale extension opens, then this confirms that the extension you disabled was the one causing the issue. Skip ahead to the Changing the extension to fix the issue section
If the extension does not open, go back to the Extensions tab, re-enable the extension you previously disabled, then disable the next one in the list and repeat from step 4 above
Changing the extension to fix the issue
Go back to the Extensions page
Re-enable the extension that you previously disabled
Click the Details button on that extension
On the Details page, go to Site Access, and change it to On Click
Go back to your ATS tab and refresh the page
Look for the icon for the extension you disabled. If you hover the mouse cursor over the icon, you will see a popup that says it "Wants access to this site"
Click that icon and it will prompt you to reload the page
Click the Reload button
Once the page reloads, click the Grayscale icon on the side of the page to open the Grayscale extension. It may take several clicks the first time, but should open after a single click from that point on
