Grayscale surveys are an easy, but impactful way to gauge your candidates’ experiences over time.

Creating Surveys

We currently offer one survey type which includes 2 questions total – each question is customizable however the response types are not. One question has a 0-10 rating response and the other has a multiline text response. Let's dive in!


Basic Setup

  1. Head over to the Surveys tab

  2. Click + Add Survey in the upper left-hand corner

  3. Give your survey a name – this is internal, so something that will be easily identifiable

  4. Add your company logo (totally optional, but looks cool when added 😎)

  5. Now we're ready to customize our questions!


Configuring Questions

Like I mentioned earlier, Grayscale Surveys include two customizable questions however, the response types are not customizable.

Question 1. By default, question one asks the following:

Based on your experience with our hiring process, how likely are you to recommend us to others?

  • This question elicits a 0-10 rating response.

Question 2. By default, question two asks your candidate:

What is the most important reason for your score?

  • This question provides a free form text response type.

Finally, click Save.

Easy breezy! You've created your first survey 🚀


You can now include surveys in 1:1 messages and bulk messages, along with your automations!
