Short answer: yes! 

You can enable both text and email notifications from within your settings. 

To get started, head on over to 'Settings' by clicking on the menu icon (hamburger icon in the top right for your Chrome extension users). 

Click 'Notifications' and select the appropriate notifications you'd like to enable. 

To enable text notifications on your phone, you'll be prompted to enter your cell phone number under the 'Profile' section (also in 'Settings').
